AXE THROWING INSTRUCTOR
Think you’ve got the energy to turn a room full of people into a cheering, axe-slinging crew?
Read on!
We’re not just looking for someone to hand out axes and knives - we’re looking for the person who makes the whole night unforgettable.
If your energy is contagious and your smile genuine, we want you on the team.
Who We’re Looking For
People who walk into a room and immediately make it better. People who thrive on being around people. People who stay cool under pressure, and genuinely enjoy making sure everyone around them is having a great time.
Experience with axe throwing or knife throwing is not required — we’ll train you on everything technique-related, so don’t worry about that.
What we can’t teach is the kind of upbeat, warm personality that turns a regular night into an evening guests talk about for months.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running Safety Briefings
You’ll ensure every guest knows the rules before a single axe is thrown — confidently and without killing the vibe.
- Coaching Technique
Don’t worry — we’ll train you on everything. Then you’ll be the one making guests look like pros (and letting them feel like it too).
- Running Games & Keeping Score
Organize competitions, track points, and bring the hype. The crowd feeds off your energy.
- Board Repairs & Maintenance
You’ll need to be comfortable using basic power tools — a drill and mitre saw are part of the job. Handy is a plus.
- Keeping the Space Clean
A tidy venue is part of a great guest experience. Basic cleaning duties are part of the role.
- Handling Transactions
You’ll process payments, serve drinks at the bar, and manage cash accurately.
Attention to detail here matters.
Requirements
- Genuinely upbeat, people-first personality
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Comfortable handling cash and processing payments
- Availability evenings and weekends
- Valid Smartserve certificate (Required. Possess it or willing to attain it)
- Have wrestled an animal in the wild
- Comfortable with basic power tools (Drill, mitre saw)
Ready to throw your hat in the ring?
We’re a small team that takes the guest experience seriously and has a blast doing it.
