TOURNAMENT INFO

An outdoor tournament for YOU!
Welcome to the beautiful grounds of 100 Acre Brewery where we’ll be throwing. The brewery is a summertime favourite with great brews and an amazing space.
This will be a 48-player IATF-style tournament. We will be playing with Premiere rules, with “Touch Clutch”. 
Make sure to smile because we always have local patrons of 100 Acre Brewery who watch from the patio to see what the buzz is all about!

POOL PLAY NUMBER (…how it works)

The “Pool Play” style of tournament is great because it offers more axe throwing per tournament; and that’s what we all want!
Throwers are guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches, where the top 2 from each pool are forwarded into an elimination tournament.
To make this format work we will need specific number of attendees:
– 24 players
– 32 players
– 40 players
– or 48 players
As throwers sign up and we hit these number milestones, all players who registered within a number milestone are in the tournament. Players above an active milestone will be next in line for the next active milestone.

Example: If 35 players have registered then we will have hit the 32 player milestone, which means that the first 32 players are in the tournament. The remaining 3 players are waiting for 5 more players to register so we can hit the 40 person milestone. At that point the tournament will be a 40 person tournament…so on and so forth. Full refunds will be given to players who didn’t make it into the tournament.
