Welcome to the Interleague Tournament!

This is a tournament for any and all league members of the Peterborough Axe Club that has thrown in the past two seasons.
It’s a chance for league members to meet other members, from other league nights, that they don’t normally get to throw against!

Who can attend?

This tournament for all Peterborough Axe Club league members from the past two seasons.
It is open to youth as well as adults. If you think you’ve got game, then come prove it!

Format

We will be splitting all participants into two categories: Masters (Standard) and Premiere (Premiere).
Youth will automatically be in Masters.
There will be an overlap bubble where the top 2 from Masters will also play in Premiere and the bottom 2 from Premiere will also play in Masters. Cool, right!?
The tournament will be a Double Elimination bracket tournament.

We’ll be playing with CHASE! cards.

CHASE! cards are cards that players can acquire which allow them an advantage over their opponents. Some cards are played on oneself, some affect the opponent, but all cards give the player a chance to turn the tides of the match!

This changes everything!

Each player begins the tournament with a CHASE! card in hand.
Additional cards can be acquired by hitting a Unicorn (27 pts) in any round of a match.
Players can have up to 5 CHASE! cards in their hand at the end of a match, so they must chose wisely which to keep and which to discard back into the deck.
Cards can be used 1 per match of 5 rounds, 2 per match of  7 rounds. Once a card is played, it’s discarded back into the bottom of the deck.
Players who knock an opponent out of the tournament gain all unused cards from that player.
