Welcome to the Great Canadian Double-Double!
Grab your toque, double-knot your boots and round up your best bud, because this one’s a doubles tournament!
You and a partner team up and take on the rest of the buckies, two by two, like a pair of loons on a cottage lake.
How it works, bud:
Every team is guaranteed three games to warm up those shoulder snakes. After that, it’s single-elimination, so it’s win and keep going or you’re donezies.
Lose and you’ll be head’n to the bar to drown your tears with the rest of the 10-plys. Sorry, but them’s the rules.
No partner? No problem!
Come on out solo and we’ll pair you up with another lone wolf. Nobody gets left out in the cold here.
The nitty-gritty:
- Date: January 24, 2027 so get on’er!
- Time: Doors open at 9:00 am. The puck drops at 10:00 am… till she’s done bud!
- Entry: $45+tx per thrower. Not bad, eh?
- Tournament Style: Pool play with single elimination. This makes sure you get more games in.
- Minimum: 8 teams needed to make yer lady howl, so tell your friends, your neighbours and your cousin from Sudbury.
- Prizes: [TBD], so there’s more on the line than just bragging rights.
