We want to make your life a living hell…and to do it, The Peterborough Axe Club is inviting you to a tournament unlike anything you’ve ever thrown in before!

3rd Ring of Hell is a triple-elimination, multi-disciplinary tournament where, with each loss, you descend deeper into perdition! To reach the light, you’ll need to best your opponents using up to three different disciplines – hatchets, big axe, knives.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
🔥 FIRST RING OF HELL 🪓
In the first ring of hell, you’ll be throwing hatchets against other throwers. This will be Premiere style ruleset where winners move on, but losers descend into the second ring.
🔥🔥 SECOND RING OF HELL ⛏️
Here, the stench of sulfur surrounds you as you lose the right to throw hatchets. Big Axes are the only weapon that exist in this ring. Standard ruleset with Premiere ruleset for any tiebreakers. Winners play forth in this ring knocking losers into the third, and final ring.
🔥🔥🔥 THIRD RING OF HELL 🔪
Down in these depths, only the laments of the fallen can be heard. Knives have now become the weapon for your matches. The rounds for each of your matches will consist of 3 flights of knives (three throws, where all knives must remain in the board until all knives have been thrown). Winners cling to their failing hopes while losers now exit the tournament becoming mere shadowy figures whose pail voices warn of the pangs of failure!
CLIMBING OUT OF HELL
In this tournament, the final matches will host specialty, multi-disciplined rounds. This means that you’ll be throwing multiple weapons throughout each round! The type of weapon and the amount of that weapon per round will be determined by how deep into Hell you’ve descended!
